  1. FOLLOW THESE RULES OR YOUR POSTS WILL BE TRASHED AND A WARNING OR BAN WILL ISSUED. THESE ARE SIMPLE RULES TO FOLLOW, PLEASE RESPECT THEM
    Introduction: The following text is a list of fairly detailed rules that all members of the Warez-Fever community are expected to adhere to.

    As the audience of Warez-Fever ranges from minors (13 years plus) to adults, we ask that all our members refrain from using explicit, vulgar language and refrain from discussion of drugs, nudity, pornography and other potentially harmful subjects; such discussions may result in a ban.

    These rules are in place in order to ensure that order is kept, consequently resulting in everyone feeling welcome enough to join in and participate in any discussion they wish.

    Therefore, Warez-Fever Staff are entitled to enforce these rules at their own discretion where they deem most appropriate.

    NB: Please note that the following rules also apply to Private Messages (PM), Profiles, Avatars and Signatures.

    Description:

    Global Rules

    1.1 If you see anything that should not appear on the forums please notify a moderator so that they can resolve the issue by using the report button provided alongside the offensive post.
    1.2 The only permitted language to be used on these forums is English.

    Warning System

    2.1 It is the duty of Warez-Fever Staff to remain impartial and maintain professional conduct at all times. However, if they discover that a rule has been violated their responsibilities shift slightly and depending on their judgement and the severity of a violation, members may be warned or banned.
    2.2 Our system uses an assortment of punishments for insubordination:

    * Warnings are issued to notify a user that they have done something wrong and that they should take heed of the notice that they have been sent in order to avoid further sanctions.
    * Infractions are issued to demonstrate and act as a reminder that a user has deviated away from the rules. These show that the deviant behaviour was relatively serious (depending on how many infraction points are obtained). Some infractions are permanent, whilst others expire after a certain amount of time (depending on the severity). If a member receives a sufficient number of infractions, so that the total number adds up to 100 then the user will be banned.
    * Bans are issued when the nature of an offence is believed to be serious enough to warrant such a serious response.

    Appeals can be made by contacting a member of the administration team within 30 days of a punishment being issued, if you feel that the sanction issued was unjust. However, only in the most exceptional circumstances is it likely that a punishment will be revoked.

    Posting Etiquette

    3.1 All topics must be submitted to the relevant forums (check forum descriptions before posting) and contain a full description and in addition topic titles must also be descriptive (relevant post icons must be included in threads). Do not use special characters full caps or + Serial,+ Keygen,+ Patch,+ Retail,+ Updated,100% Working,***New***,NEW,post all links here,all versions post here,Latest Version, etc... in order to make your thread stand out.
    3.2 Treat others with dignity and respect (the flaming of other members or forums will result in a sanction; either a warning or possibly even a ban - depending on the severity).
    3.3 Topics may be bumped so long as any additional messages posted to the thread provide useful information that justifies the need to keep the thread alive.
    3.4 Double posting of any sort may lead to a warning, as it is unacceptable in any circumstances (particularly to gain exposure). We ask that if you have amendments to make to your post; you use the edit button. If you do accidentally double post, it is important that you use the "report" button to inform us of this so that we can remove the additional post (without penalising you).
    3.5 Images should be hosted on sites such as the following image hosting websites:

    DO NOT DIRECT LINK TO IMAGES FROM OTHER WEBSITES
    3.6 All links must be coded e.g "[removecode]URL[remove/code]". We ask you to do this to ensure that links last longer before expiring and to protect the privacy of our users (as active links leave a trial leading back to the forum, which could be potentially damaging to the community and members). Failure to comply to this rule on more than two occasions will result in a warning being issued.
    3.7 Please do not hijack other people's threads by going off topic (always stick to the subject).
    3.8 Any posts that are edited by a moderator must not be removed or re-edited.
    3.9 If you wish to post mirror links to a file, you must create your own thread (normal rules for thread creation apply).
    3.10 If you insist on responding to members who post in your thread when you have submitted links and wish to acknowledge their gratitude, you may do so (but ensure you use the multi-quote feature and you may only respond to such posts twice per page).

    Spam Related

    4.1 You may only advertise your website once (in the "Links Archive"). Promotion of your website elsewhere will result in a warning being issued.
    4.2 You may only post a link (in the "Links Archive") if it will benefit everyone. The following is a list of forbidden categories: web hosting, referrals, warez forums or any other sites that require registration, a subscription or a fee in order to gain access. Links encrypted or hidden using link protectors are not permitted.
    4.3 You must not post similar messages on the forums in order to increase your post count.
    4.4 Signatures must not contain either a hyperlink or text link referring to other forums or websites.
    4.5 Any post(s) containing singularly the words "lol", "lmao", "lmfao", "pmsl" or any other similar acronym as a post response are defined as spam. Members must form complete sentences, using appropriate language and grammar.
    4.6 Threads/posts which are deemed spam will be deleted and thus the author of these will lose any related post count. Successive use of spam will result in a warning being issued. Serious instances of spam will result in a ban without prior warning.

    Release Related

    5.1 Although it is acceptable to post links to other groups/forums releases here, it is strongly encouraged that you upload your content exclusively for Warez-Fever. In order to do this, you must password protect your compressed file archives using the password "Warez-Fever.Com" and/or add "Warez-Fever.Com" in your file names.

    5.2 Ensure that any links you submit on the forum are working correctly and that the password is valid.

    5.3 If you insist on using link protection, only use our recommended link protector:

    The use of ANY link protectors is not permitted.

    Staff Request Related

    6.1 UPLOADERS: You must have a minimum of 50 posts (including at least 10 exclusive uploads using "Warez-Fever.Com" as the archive password) before being permitted to make a team request. Also, katz.cd requires all 5* sites to have their URL in ALL file names as well as a RapidShare mirror. Warez-Fever also requires these things for our Elite Uploader Team.

    Moderator: Don't ask.

    Super Moderator: Don't ask.

    Miscellaneous

    7.1 Please do not request that a thread be stickied. Exceptional posts will be stickied by a Warez-Fever Staff member provided there is room.

    7.2 Members are not permitted to have more than one registered account on the forum, particularly to bypass any punishment. If we discover that you have registered a new username in order to bypass our sanctions, we will be forced to ban your IP address (which will prevent you from visiting the forum in the future).

    7.3 In order to change your username, you must send a PM to Warez-Fever Staff and request that your current account be banned (permanently) explaining that you wish to register a new account. Any linked attributes such as post count will not be transferred. This prevents members from constantly changing their usernames, which is both confusing and disruptive to the community.

    7.4 We recognise your efforts and valuable contributions will be rewarded appropriately. If we believe that you meet our requirements and standards for becoming a member of Warez-Fever Staff (particularly if we are in need) we will notify you. Anyone caught asking to become a member of Warez-Fever staff will be blacklisted and thus consequently will never be picked for a staff position.

    7.5 Similarly, we will add to your reputation when we believe that it is most deserved. Do not ask others to add to your reputation, this may lead to us issuing you with negative reputation.
    7.6 Signature sizes are limited to a height of 200 pixels.

    Warez-Fever Staff reserve the right to modify or remove any post at any time without prior notice.

    Conclusion:
